JK College of Education organised Slogan Writing & Poster making on "No Tobacco Day" (30-5-2017)

 

NSS unit of JK College of Education organised Slogan Writing & Poster Making on "No Tobacco Day". Volunteers enthusiastically participated in writing slogans to eradicate the habit of use of tobacco and made posters to highlight the health risks associated with use of tobacco and advocated effective policies to reduce tobacco consumption amongst the youngsters.
  
 

MAA MUJE TAGORE BANA DE” STAGED IN J.K. GROUP OF COLLEGES (27-04-2017)

 

Mr Luckyjee Gupta from Rang Aloke Theater gave a solo performance of skit, “ Maa Mujhe Tagore Bana De” in J.K. Group of colleges on 27 April 2017. The skit depicted a child who is motivated to educate deprived children of the society. His performance touched the emotions of both faculty and students of the college. His acting skills were appreciated by the Principal and rest of the audience. The skit conveyed beautiful message.
  

Prize Distribution (Dev Nagri Lipi Parishad, Delhi)(3-05-2017)

 

A Prize Distribution Ceremony for Essay Writing Competition was held at JK College of Education. Many students from schools and college had participated in National Level Essay Writing Competition organized by Dev Nagri Lipi Parishad (Registered) Delhi. Five consolation prizes in junior category were claimed by students of JK Public School, Panjtirthi. Students form JK Public School, Kunjwani won two consolation and a third prize in junior category, whereas in senior category two students of B.Ed (IV Semester) clinched third prize while as first prize went to Chandni Kumari from B.Ed (II Semester). In Research category Ms. Neelam Mahajan received third prize. Ms Urmil Mehta of JK College of Education has been appointed as Co-ordinator of Nagri Lipi Parishad (Registered) Delhi for J & K State. Brig. (Retd) Sukhdev Singh, Director JK Educational Society and Ms. Shashi Chaudhary, Principal JK College distributed the prizes to students. They encouraged the students to participate in these kinds of events.
  
 

J.K. Group of Colleges organized Farewell Party

 

A farewell party was organized for the outgoing students of J.K. Group of Colleges. The celebration started with the lighting of the lamp by the Chairman, Members of Management, Principal and Students.
Ms. Shashi Chaudhary, Principal J.K. College warmly welcomed the guests. Welcome address was followed by various dance and singing performances by the students of B.Ed, BBA & BCA. Token of love to the paring students of BCA, BBA & B.Ed presented by Ms. Sara Daluja, Ms. Neelam Daluja and Mr. Raj Daluja, Chairman J.K. Educational Society. Shivali Randhawa and Rohit Kumar was crowned as Ms & Mr Farewell BBA & BCA and Vandana Lalotra & Ankit Mahajan were crowned as Ms & Mr B.Ed by the Chairman.

JK COLLEGE ORGANIZED A GUEST LECTURE (7-02-2017)

 

JK Group of Colleges organized a lecture for the students of B.Ed and BBA/BCA. The subject chosen was Effective Management which was delivered by Prof Keshav Sharma, Registrar, Dean Management Studies, University of Jammu. Before the start of the lecture Prof. Keshav Sharma was welcomed by Brig. Sukhdev Singh, Director, JK Educational Society. He mentioned that Prof. Keshav Sharma was a personality dedicated and committed to quality education to the students.

Intra College Rangoli Competition was organized by J.K. Group of Colleges on the occasion of Basant Panchami. The students and the faculty members were in yellow attire to signify the relevance of Basant Panchami
  
LOHRI CELEBRATED IN J.K. GROUP OF COLLEGES (12-01-2017)
Lohri festival was celebrated in J.K. Group of Colleges with lots of fun and frolic. Students presented beautiful dance items which spell bounded the audience. Folk songs sung by the students created the ambience of village where Lohri is celebrated with full enthusiasm.

J.K. College of Education organized Mehndi Competition on 18 October, 2016 on the eve of Karwa Chauth in the college campus. The students of B.Ed were on their creative best and made beautiful designs which were at par with professional Mehndi artists..

J.K. Group of Colleges Organized two days Traffic Awareness Campaign on 26th and 27th Nov, 2016.
J.K. Group of Colleges organized two days traffic awareness campaign on 26 and 27 Nov, 2016. NSS unit of the college emphasized on traffic rules by making banners and writing slogans on 26th Nov. Holding Placards with slogans asking people to abide by the traffic rules, NSS volunteers participated in the awareness rally on 27th Nov which commenced from college to Kaluchak. The rally was organized under the aegis of NSS Programme incharge Ms. Neelam Mahajan.
  
N.S.S Unit of J.K. College of Education Organized Cleanliness Drive (03-1016)
N.S.S Volunteers of J.K. College of Education paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his Birth Anniversary, by organizing cleanliness drive under P.M's Mission 'Swatch Bharat Abhiyan'. Students and Staff took a pledge to keep the institution neat and clean and a rally was also organized to slum area to spread the message of Swatch Bharat Abhiyan. The Principal asked the students to follow teachings of Mahatma Gandhi in their day to day life..
